Cipriano ""Cip"" Griego, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at his home in Denver, Colorado.
The Rosary will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, 3020 Federal Blvd., Denver, CO 80211. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Guardian Angels Church, 1843 W. 52nd Avenue, Denver, Co 80221. Precession following the funeral to Ft. Logan National Cemetery with Military Honors starting at 1:30 p.m. Reception will follow at the American GI Forum, 1717 Federal Blvd. Denver, CO 80204
Cipriano was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 5, 1944. He is survived by his spouse of 38 years, Louise Griego, his two children, Cheryl and Ron (Anna), grandchildren, Stephanie, Ronnie (Alicia), and Sherri. Great-grandchildren Sabrina, Destiny, Isla, Alie, Maya and Noah, sister Elsie Clark (Ralph), brother-in-laws Manuel Perez, Joe Perez (Lorraine) and Heno Garcia as well as many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sorida Griego, sister, Loretta Garcia and grandson, Jason Martinez. Loved and remembered fondly by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ciprianoâs honor to Louise Griego, 3020 Federal Blvd. Denver CO 80211.
