Clair Gertrude Obel

Clair Gertrude (Wasmundt) Obel, 85, of Denver, Colorado died peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2012 with family by her side. Claire was born on July 13, 1926 in Sisters Oregon. She came to Colorado with her family in 1935. Claire was employed and retired from the law firm Davis, Graham & Stubbs. Claire also loved to travel. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was dearly loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Frieda (Henry) Heuerman, Shirley (George) Burgess and Millie Wasmundt and 2 brothers; Herman (Florence) Wasmundt and Harry (Barbara) Wasmundt. Surviving are her sisters and brother; Ella (Marvin) Hahn, Lil (Raymond) McCrumb and Don (Marilyn) Wasmundt and 22 nieces and nephews. Claire will be dearly missed by her family and by many close friends. Claire's wish was that donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012, 11:00 Am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4225 West Yale Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80219.
