Clair James “Jim” Rice Jr.

Age 83, of, Littleton, CO. Passed away on June 19, 2020 at UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital. Jim was born June 19, 1937 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Clair J. and Louis L. ""Betty"" Rice. He is survived by daughter L. Claire Rice of Palm Springs, CA, son, Timothy J. Rice, of Littleton, CO, sister, Ann L. Rice, OH, and many dear cousins.

He graduated from Ohio Northern University in 1961 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked on construction projects around the country from missile silos in Kansas to power stations on the Black Warrior River to water treatment facilities on Ft. Carson Army Base in Colorado. Friends may attend his memorial service on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Republican National Committee, PO Box 98206, Washington DC, 20077-7561, or the 8th AF Historical Society, 68 Kimberlys Way, Jasper, GA 30143.
