Clara Marie Moeder Clara Marie Moeder, also known as ""Miss Daisy"" passed away on October 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Moeder and her son David R. Moeder. She was the loving mother of Ron and Judi Moeder, Joan and Marvin Davis, Carol and Stan Varoz, Eddie Joe and Susan Moeder, and Billy and Kristy Moeder. Clara was fortunate to have loved 11 grandchildren; Darin & Pam Dean, Kim Armenta, Wendi Brock, Dennice & Dennis McMonigal, Susie & Edwin Vergeire, Paul & Sheila Davis, John Varoz, Davy & Kate Moeder, Heather Moeder, Tiffany & Mike Jacobs, and Dylan Moeder. Her great-grandchildren are Cayla, Samantha, and Josh Dean, Jordan and Cory Armenta, Derek and Devyn McMonigal, Macie and Cambrie Vergeire, Kyra and Syrus Varoz, Ashley, Megan, Baily, and Jackie Moeder; 15 in all. Clara and Ed found a wonderful place to take their family in Grand Lake, Colorado around 1971. The door was always open to family and friends. They would spend most of their summers at the cabin relaxing, fishing, and going to garage sales. No one could leave without signing the guest book. It has been hours of entertainment to read the fun that took place at the cabin over the years. Family and friends were an important part of Clara and Ed's time in Grand Lake. Passions of Clara included making and collection dolls, cake decorating (she entered a few competitions), and ceramics. Overall she was creative and very good with her hands. Bingo was another pastime for Clara. Shortly after Ed passed away in 2000 Clara found that she had Dementia, the first stages of Alzheimer's. Joann and Marvin asked Clara to live with them and it was a wonderful accommodation for everyone. Board games, word search, and card games with her grandchildren became a favorite pastime. An especially fun game that she played with Devyn is called ""Rat-a-Tat-Tat; Clara would always call it by other names and get Devyn to laugh. Clara's love of family encouraged everyone to continue their holiday traditions by gathering at home to celebrate. Christmas is always a great time and she would make sure that all 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren each had a present. Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her love and kindness touched so many lives over the years. She will be greatly missed.
