Clara A. Sewald

Clara A. (Lechman) Sewald, age 84, of Lakewood, CO passed away June 14, 2016 in Lakewood surrounded by her loving family. Clara was born on August 20, 1931 in Sterling, CO to Thomas A. & Catherine E. Lechman. She was blessed with six children and spent her life dedicating herself to her family. She was a hardworking, dedicated, positive and selfless person, touching not only her growing family but all those she met. Throughout her life, she was a faithful member of the Catholic church, and was guided daily by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Clara is survived by her children: Michael Sewald, Randall Sewald & wife Joni, Cheryl Block, Cynthia Countryman, Richard Sewald & wife Rhonda and Julie Phipps & husband Brian; grandchildren: Haley, Paige, Shawn, Adam, Leah, Cody, Cyrena, Carolyn, Ashley & Megan; great grandchildren: Tanner, Lauren, Judah, Luke, Caleb, Cayalyn & Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Ann Schiel & Pauline Lauer. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 21 at 6:00 pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel (3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood) with visitation to follow. A funeral mass will take place the following day at 10:00 am at Notre Dame Catholic Church (2190 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver) with burial following at Littleton Cemetery, Littleton, CO. Please leave condolences for Clara's family below.
