Clarence F. Hatch

July 2, 1927 — March 3, 2012

Clarence F. Hatch passed away on March 3, 2012, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by his family. He was 84 years old. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Clarence's health was fragile for many years and he overcame numerous medical challenges. Clarence was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Spencer and Edith Hatch. He was one of eleven children. Clarence graduated from Davis High School. He married his high school sweet heart, Carrolee Campana in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they raised a family of four children, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was an avid gardener who taught his children to appreciate the gifts of the earth and the bounty of the harvest. He was always busy with yard work or in the garden, but his greatest joy came when he was with his family. He taught his children an incredible work ethic and impressed upon them to treat all people with fairness, dignity, and respect. Clarence was an extremely hardworking and generous man. He worked for many years in sales and made numerous friends throughout his career. He was an exemplary patriarch and is survived by his wife Carrolee, and four children, Toni (Kris), Ginger (Mike), Randy (Nancy), Sally (Mike). Grandchildren; Molly, Brett, Sara, Brooke, Garrett, Brittany, Amanda, Nicolas, (Anthony – Proceeded in death), Camille, Matthew, Dawn and Alison. Great Grandchildren; Ashley, Abby, Corban, Ruby, Ethan, Reed, Luke, Jane, Joseph, Sienna, Tatym, Jude, Madelyn, Lila, Luke & Lucy. Clarence is also survived by his brothers, Spencer, Roy, Howard, Dell and Rulon, sisters, Gladys and Barbara. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012, 10:30 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Littleton Cemetery, 6155 South Prince Street, Littleton, Colorado 80210.
