Clarence ""JR"" Stiger, 92, passed away on 5/30/15. JR was born to Clarence and Maude in Hunnewell, Kansas and lived on the family farm. While studying accounting, he was called to service during World War II. JR served in the Air Force for 3 years active duty and 5 years in the reserves. He was then called to active duty during the Korean War, completing his service as a Master Sargent. After the war, JR settled in Chicago as an accountant prior to moving to Colorado. As a long time resident of Estes Park, Colorado, he was employed at the YMCA of the Rockies for 10 years and business owner for 16 years. He met Irene, the love of his life and moved to Tucson, Arizona. During his retirement they enjoyed traveling the United States, gardening, bike rides and tennis. In 2000 they returned to Colorado to be close to their daughter and granddaughter. Clarence is preceded in death by daughter, Beverly Jean; parents Clarence and Maude; brother Darrel; Joan, wife & mother of Julie, and wife of 24 yrs, Irene Mace Stiger. Clarence is survived by daughter Julie Stiger; granddaughter Christina Stiger; nieces Pam (Wally) Jacobson, Kim (Jordan) and Lynn (Mike) Saville; nephews Mark (Lora) Stiger, Dennis Greenlee, Mark (Rebecca) Greenlee.
