Clarence Toshihiro Yoshida, age 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 9, 2016, in Aurora, CO. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Kiyoko Mizokami Yoshida. He is survived by his sons Eugene Hajime (Randi Lewis), Stanley Noboru (Susan), Alan Satoro (Chariese) and Gregg Yutaka (Sandy), four sisters, one brother, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was born to Eiichi Frank Yoshida and Isayo Kiyonaga Yoshida on October 3, 1921 in Stockton, CA. He farmed in the Alamosa, CO area for many years before retiring to Sun City, AZ. In 2014 he returned to Colorado and lived with family in Ft. Collins and Denver. A memorial service will be held at the Tri-State Denver Buddhist Temple, 1947 Lawrence St. Denver, CO at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2016. A brief interment service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the City of Alamosa Cemetery.
