Clarice Marie Krammer

Clarice passed peacefully, in her sleep, on November 22, 2024. She was the 2nd born of 6 children from John B. Campbell & Viola E. Butler Campbell born on February 22, 1932 in Grantsville, Maryland. She was married to Cecil Levi Schaefer in 1950 and raised 2 sons: Alan Lee Schaefer born in 1959 and Jeffrey Lynn Schaefer, born in 1969. She divorced Cecil in 1980 and lived in Colorado until 1994, then moved back to the Grantsville. Clarice later married her old flame, Wilbert J. Krammer Jr. in 1997.

She was an accomplished typist throughout her secretarial career, typing over 70 WPM. Clarice always tried to contribute to her community as well. She was a teacher’s aide and the “lunch room lady “at her local elementary school for many years.

Clarice and Wilbert had a wonderful life together at his home in Baltimore until his unfortunate passing in late 2008. She continued to live in the shore-house until 2019 then moved back to Colorado to be with her sons.

She is survived by her two sons;  Alan L. Schaefer, his wife Elsa Schaefer, and their two children, Stephan Wiley and Ashley Schaefer; Jeffrey L. Schaefer; her sister, Mary Doreta Emala of Maryland and Florida; cousin, Barbara House of Grantville, Maryland. Also surviving are dear friends: Charlotte Tarman of Baltimore, Maryland and Laura E. Apodaca of Arvada, Colorado.

Clarice was buried with her dear husband, Wilbert J. Krammer Jr. at  Crownsville Veterans Cemetery in Maryland on Monday, February 3, 2025, as per her instructions before passing.

She was such a great person that will be missed by all that knew her over the years.
