Claude W. Concelman

Passed away October 29, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Mildred, of 62 years. They were both born and raised in the Beaver Valley, Pennsylvania, area. They have three children - Linda (Stanley) Strzebala, William (Setsuko) Concelman & Candy (Vern) Mets. He also has seven grandchildren and five great grandchldren. They will all work to keep his memory alive. Claude is also survived by a brother, Paul Boyd; two sisters in-law, Margert and Elenor; and one brother in-law, Paul Mengal; all living in Pennsylvania. Claude drove over-the-road truck for many years. He retired from Walt Flannigan Concrete Company. He also worked for Building Contractors and Tree Surgeons (Landscapers) throughout the years. Claude moved his family to Colorado in August of 1962. In 1968, he bought a small farm which he named the Hard Two Acres. he raised many different animals throughout the years, his favorite animal being the mules. Everyone enjoyed seeing pictures of him and his mules. For many years, he rode motorcycles and raced stock cars on the dirt tracks. He also had a passion for taking his camper, boat and grandchildren to Colorado and Wyoming camping. His favorite place was Glendo Lake, Wyoming, where he enjoued the peace and scenery of nature. He and his wife liked traveling to see friends and family that lived in different places throughout the United States. Claude never wanted to slow down. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play the sports that they loved such as baseball, softball, soccer, football, choir and race car driving. He was their biggest supporter whether he could attend the events or not. His friends and family have so many wonderful memories that his life will continue to be celebrated for years to come.
