Clifford B. Fortney

Clifford B. Fortney was born in Sardis, West Virginia December 7, 1924 to Archie Brown Fortney and Lydia Pearl Newlon Fortney, and passed away in Westminster, Colorado February 4, 2014 at age 89. He is survived by his wife Dolores M. (Hurst) Fortney, children Jennifer Thomas and her husband Larry, Nancy Roth and her husband Ron, Debbie Gamel and Jeff Fortney and his wife Lori. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ruth McGeoghegan, brother Patrick Fortney, grandchildren Amber Hardin, Cameron Shelley, Christopher Thomas, Amanda Thomas, Joshua Roth, Joseph Gamel, Alexandra Fortney, Jacob Fortney and Lauren Fortney and great grandchildren, Emma Hardin, Riley Hardin, Avery Hardin and Lana Roth. Clifford was preceded in death by his brother Howard Fortney. Visitation will be Sunday, 12PM - 4PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, 10AM at Crossroads Church, 10451 Huron Street; Interment Fort Logan National Cemetery.
