Clyde W. Herner

Clyde Herner, age 91, went to join his wife, Arlene, in Heaven on July 1, 2024 after living a full life. He was at home in Denver, Colorado with his daughter, Kristi, who has been his caregiver for many years. He was born November 2, 1932. Clyde and Arlene enjoyed many trips around the world during retirement. They were married for 58 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed. 

 Clyde is survived by children Wendy (Steve) O'Donnell, Keith (Mandy) Herner and Kristi Herner. He has four loving grandchildren: Shawn (Brianna) O'Donnell, Todd Herner, Julia (Fred) Petzoldt, Brianna (Kohl) Benjamin. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Mackenna O'Donnell, Wyatt O'Donnell and Emberly Petzoldt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, his parents Samuel and Opal, and his siblings Floyd and Lois. 

 Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227, Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., reception to follow. Private interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
