Cody Cheyne Doss, age 39, died in Denver, Colorado on Sunday, December 20, 2020. It was unexpected and we miss him dearly.
Born September 22, 1981 in Lubbock, Texas, he lived most of his life in the Denver/Fort Collins areas. He worked at many entertainment venues and knew everything about sound and lighting production. He was fortunate throughout his life to see many shows, most of which he loved and a few he didn’t. Cody was so smart and witty, and a joy to be around. He also dearly loved all the animals he has had and was active in saving them, most recently Cruces and Cincy.
Survivors include his mother and father Kelli & Alan Doss, his brother Kyle Doss, and aunt Judy Doss, all of Las Cruces, NM; his maternal grandparents Otis & Leta Sullivan of Clovis, NM; his partner Jennifer Guethlein of Denver; his aunts & uncles Michael & Karen Peraino of Burnet, TX, and Keith & Kristie Sullivan of Ontario, Canada; as well as cousins Paul Peraino, Gideon Sullivan and Emme Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold & Elaine Doss.
Due to the circumstances, services will not be held at this time. Relatives and friends are welcome to leave a note or kind word. Memorial contributions are welcome at any animal rescue site, most notably Dumb Friends League, 2080 S Quebec St. Denver, CO 80231 (303) 751-5772 or at ddfl.org.
