Colin Reuter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, surrounded by family and prayer. He suffered from Alzheimer’s / Dementia the last several years. Colin was born February 21, 1939 in Amber, Iowa, the son of Rex and Lena (Schoon) Reuter. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Civil Engineering degree in 1961, married Mary Martini, and accepted a civilian engineering job at Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Honolulu, HI.
Immediate family left to honor his memory include his loving wife of 61 years: Mary (Martini) Reuter; his three sons: Greg (Maureen) Reuter of Fort Collins, CO; David (Amy) Reuter of Seattle, WA; and Mark (Maggie) Reuter of Superior, CO; grandchildren: Patrick (Gina) Reuter of Lenexa, KS; Michael Reuter, Sean Reuter, Tim Reuter, Allie Reuter of Denver, CO; Sarah Reuter of Atlanta, GA; Thomas Reuter of New York, NY; Connor Reuter and Jack Reuter of Boulder, CO; Teresa (Gerry) Gartner of Hollis, NH; Andy (Carol) Parcel of Carrollton, TX; many nieces and nephews and one great grandchild.
Visitation and a mass of Christian burial will be held Wed., Dec. 21 (9:45 am) at St. Mary Catholic Church, 6853 S Prince Street, Littleton, CO 80120 followed by a luncheon in the Parish Hall. Colin will be interned at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 S Quebec Street, Denver, CO 80247 at 2:30 pm.
