Colton Zachery Russell

Colton Zachery Russell, 14, passed away July 14, 2015. He was born September 7, 2000 to Daniel James and Reesa Downs Russell. Colton taught us how to love unconditionally and to never take anything too seriously. In these times, our amazing family and friends have surrounded us with endless love and support. While Colton did have a short life with us, it was never a question that he was loved by many. His bright spirit never failed to lift the energy in any room. His tender heart touched the lives of so many. He loved to entertain people with his countless jokes and obscure accents. If he sensed something was wrong, it became his mission to fix it. Life's going to be tough with out you here. Because of you, we are going to become the best people possible, spreading your love and tenderness, and remembering to never take life too seriously. We all love and miss you more than you will ever know. Colton is survived by his Parents, Alycia and Dan Russell; sister, Paxton; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Reesa. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015, 10:30 am, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO 80122. A reception will be held at 2:00 pm, at Pavilion #6 in Clement Park in Littleton, CO., near the library.
