Connie Patton

Connie Fearn (Greening) Patton (b. July 31, 1950) passed away at home on July 26, 2022. The third of seven children, she graduated from Mapleton High School in 1968. She enlisted in the United States Army in 1973. She was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany when she met her husband Eddie, whom she married in 1973 and divorced in 2008. After her military service ended, she was an administrator in various fields including radiation monitoring for Rocky Flats, city development and planning for the City of Westminster, and (her favorite) air travel. She also worked for Adams County in the elections office for 14 years.  An avid traveler, she enjoyed time at the beach, good BBQ, a nice bottle of wine, and her family. She is survived by her children, Chris and Robin, as well as her daughter-in-law Cathy and grandson Henry. She is also survived by her sister Marianne and her brothers Randy, Howard and Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Harriet Greening, her siblings Kaye and Ron, and her ex-husband Eddie. Her viewing will take place on Tuesday, August 9th and Wednesday, August 10th between 4pm and 8pm both evenings. There will be a flag presentation for her military service on that Wednesday at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Denver Zoo in honor of Connie.
