Conrad ""Con"" ""Connie"" Wayne Ellis

Con, 75, of Arvada, Colorado, passed September 11, 2018 with family near his side.

Con loved the mountains and with that came the love for four-wheeling and jeeping. He was the tinkering type and enjoyed working on cars. He was musically talented, playing both the trumpet and guitar, and singing in the church choir. He was a dedicated member of the church.

Con is survived by his wife, Kaye; daughter, Bonnie Raty; son, Olen; step-children, Gary Hanson and Susanne Wagner; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren (with another expected in March); siblings, Walter “Buzz” Ellis, Nancy White, and Mary Pauly and their families. Con was preceded in death by his parents, Olen & Martha (Sterling) Ellis; and brother, Arthur James Ellis.

Memorial Services honoring Con will be on Saturday, September 22, 2018, beginning at 10:30 AM, at Denver Friends Church, 4595 Eliot Street, Denver, Colorado 80211.

Con and Kaye were able to sponsor many children over the years to be able to attend the Quaker Ridge Kid Camp. In his memory, his family requests donations be made to the church to continue this sponsorship in his name.
