Constance Degiovanni

May 7, 1939 — September 11, 2022

Littleton, Colorado

Constance Ann DeGiovanni was born on May 7, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles Walter and Rose Mary Foster.  Connie attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and became an elementary education teacher following in the footsteps of her mother.

Connie met her husband, James Anthony DeGiovanni, on a blind date when Jim was stationed at Custer State Air Force Station in Battle Creek, Michigan.  They wed on September 7, 1963.

Soon after, they left for Madison, Wisconsin where their first child, Cathy, was born.  Later in Omaha, Nebraska, the couple had two additional children, Jimmy (now deceased) and Mary.

Connie, Jim, and family lived in the Philippines, Illinois, and Korea before settling down in Littleton, CO.  Connie taught elementary school for the department of defense while they were stationed abroad.

During her time in Littleton, CO her family blossomed as she welcomed two son-in-laws - Thomas Price (the late husband of Cathy) and Michael Rybarczyk (husband of Mary) and a daughter-in-law, Keirsy Sealock (wife of Jimmy).  A loving grandmother, Connie had 5 grandchildren, Erika Kuhn (husband, Matt), Matthew Price, Garrett Rybarczyk, Nicholas Rybarczyk (wife, Holly), and Alexander.

Connie is survived by her sister, Donna Hunter, and brother, Charles Foster.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, Charles and Rose, and sister, Nancy Reed.

Constance enjoyed traveling the world, playing bridge, reading, cooking, floral arranging, crocheting, and celebrating life with family and friends.

Connie passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her as she was a fun-loving person who cared deeply for the Lord and her family.
