Connie was born on February 16, 1933 in Denver, Colorado. He has one sister, Joan Warner of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Connie's parents, Dean & Elizabeth Blevins, moved their family to Kremmling, Colorado, when he was a young teenager. Connie loved playing football and basketball at Grand High School in Kremmling. This love of sports continued throughout his life. Connie spent many summers working for his uncles on their ranches. He met is first wife (and mother of his children), Esther Blevins, in Kremmling in 1953. Shortly after getting married, Connie enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served for 4 years in Fort Ord, California. His oldest daughter, Linda Eaton, was born while he was enlisted in the Army. Connie and his family then moved to Englewood, Colorado, where his second daughter, Ramona Blevins, was born in 1958. During this time, Connie started his employment with Gates Rubber Company, which is where he stayed and retired with over 30 years of service. His youngest daughter, Colleen Wright, came along in 1961. Connie & Esther divorced in 1979. By this time, Connie had two lovely grand-daughters, Christine Huston and Jennifer Kreneck. In the late 80's, Connie met Elsie Parker, who was the ""love of his life."" They remained together until Elsie lost her fight to cancer in 2008. Connie has two step-children, Kyle Parker and Trudy Chapman. He was also blessed with three additional grand-children, Jared Wright, Dean Wright, and Matthew Chapman. He also has one great grandson, Kevin Kreneck. Connie's biggest accomplishment in life was winning his battle with alcohol.
