Coralee Dunbar

March 5, 1933 — July 3, 2021

Coralee Dunbar, resident of Lakewood, passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 88. Coralee was born on March 5, 1933 in Trinidad, Colorado. She graduated from Central High School in Pueblo where she was an excellent student and enjoyed singing in the choir. While attending Pueblo College she met the love of her life, Hugh, affectionately known as Duke. She graduated with an associates degree and worked as a retail customer service associate while she and Hugh raised three children in Lakewood. She enjoyed playing the piano, games, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Coralee will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her husband and children, her willingness to help those in need, how she always made people feel welcome and included in gatherings, and her strong faith in God.
Coralee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hugh, and will be deeply missed by her sister, Ginger; her three children, Pamela, Bryan, and Derek; her five grandchildren, Josh, Kyle, Jessica, Megan, and Evan; her five great-grandchildren, Anthony, Carson, Raleigh, Skylar, and Harper; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, 3:15 pm, area C, followed by a reception at Forefront Church, 2112 South Patton Court, Denver, CO 80219. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Forefront Church.
