Cordelia ""Cordy"" Maestas

Cordelia H. ""Cordy"" Maestas was born in Santa Cruz, New Mexico on February 25, 1927 to Sixto Herrera and Antonita (Martinez) Herrera, and passed away in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on January 20, 2017 at age 89. She was married to John Baptist Maestas, who preceded her in death on August 21, 1998. Cordy is survived by her children, Jim (Kathy) Maestas, Ronald (Darlene) Maestas, Donald (Mariann) Maestas, Annette (Steve) Cisneros, Rose (Don) Vogt, and Veronica (Junior) Chacon. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, James ""JJ"" Maestas, Therese (Daniel) Bickford, Virginia ""Gina"" Moyer, Amanda ""Mandy"" (Paul) Johnson, James P. Maestas, Clinton Maestas, Rudy (Rosalie) Maestas, Jr. Tiffany Maestas, Nicholas Valadez, Michelle (Chris) Gibler, Shalene (David) Zarate, Tina (Mike) Lowery, Donald ""D.J."" (Mercedes) Maestas, Kevin Maestas, Andrew Maestas, Rachael (Sabu) Watanabe, Allysia Cisneros, Alfonso Chacon, Andres ""Andy"" Chacon and Annie Chacon. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, Breanna, Grayson, Brandt, Tiana, Andre, Nora, Alexandra, Mitchell, Jason, Charlee, Jaycee, Jennifer, R.J., Peyton, Carson, Caeden, Oceana, Skyler, Ashton, Jake, Mary, Rocco, Sabu, Dash, and Haley, and her 3 great great grandchildren. DJ, Ginny and Talin. Cordy was preceded in death by her son Rudy Maestas, and grandson Danny Pollock. Visitation will be 6PM, Friday, January 27th, followed by the Rosary at 7PM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 28th, 10AM at Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 695 Julian Street. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church.
