Craig Edward Elder

Craig Edward Elder, 49, and a resident of Aurora passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marilyn; 2 sons, Jeff "Heather" Elder and Mark "Christy Carter" Elder; 2 daughters, Rochelle "Jeremy Ellis" Elder and Ashely Elder; 2 granddaughter's, Hannah and Mya Ellis; 2 grandsons, Dustin and Jeffrey Elder; 3 sisters, Lorrie Peterson, Shelly Powell, and Cheryl Sanchez; 2 brothers, Brent and Terry Elder. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kay Edward and Sheron Joyce Elder, and his sister Bonnie Elder. Craig was a lover of nature and the great outdoors. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, waterskiing and scuba diving. He loved many types of music also. Following in his father's footsteps, Craig had a life long career in construction. Craig was an avid Broncos fan. He loved ALL children. They seemed to all be magnitized to him. Craig put up a great fight against cancer (Merkel Cell Carcinoma) for the past several months. Craig has been a great inspiration to many through his life. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
