Craig Mitsu Harada

October 10, 1966 — March 28, 2016

Craig Mitsu Harada. The (ladies) man, the myth, the conversationalist, the legend of terrible hairstyles and outfits he tried to pull off in the 90's (relax, there are several pictures to prove this claim). He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend who unexpectedly passed on March 28, 2016, while living and working in Dubai, UAE, leaving behind the love of his life, daughter Alia Kiyomi (4) too soon. He was born on October 10, 1966, in Denver, the firstborn of Harry and Nancy Lee Kiyomi Harada of Northglenn. He attended Hillcrest Elementary, Pecos Junior High, Northglenn High School, University of Colorado at Boulder and the Art Institute of Colorado. He excelled at everything he did and worked and played harder than anyone (our opinion and probably his too). He loved cars (the faster the better), food, movies, music, architecture and design, and catching up with his many family and friends he had spread out around the globe. His recreational passion for photojournalism will forever live on documenting all of this. He was the Director of Design at H&H Investment and Development, located in Dubai, UAE, at the time of his death. He is preceded in death by his mom, whom he missed tremendously and thought and talked of often, paternal grandparents Mitsu and Ruby Harada of Rocky Ford/Windsor and maternal grandparents Ray Winbourne Enomoto of Gardena, California and Asako Enomoto of Denver. He is survived by his daughter Alia Kiyomi of Abu Dhabi, father, sisters Stacey (Eric Pederson) Harada of Colorado Springs, Keri (Dale) Quye of Colorado Springs, nephew Brandon Quye and niece Keira Lee Quye, grandmother Yone Enomoto of Gardena, California and several uncles, aunties and cousins who will always remember his smile, his energy, and his love for life, family and his many friends around the world. A memorial to celebrate his rich life that was cut short is planned for Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. His body will be laid to eternal rest at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton.
