Craig Harold Trindle was born in Inglewood, California on June 18, 1952 to Don E. and Rosalie L. Trindle. He died peacefully on New Years Day, 2020 at Lutheran Collier Hospice.
Craig attended the University of Colorado, then later graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he received a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate. He later went on to receive his master's degree. Craig taught 4th grade at Thomson Elementary in Arvada for 27 years before retiring. He was a beloved teacher and many of his students have kept in contact with him through the years.
Craig was a talented cook and loved to entertain friends and family. He liked to travel, especially to visit the ocean in his native California or distant family and friends. Craig loved to play a good game of cribbage and that brought out his competitive spirit.
Survivors include his sister Gayle Hall and husband Joe of Loveland, Colorado; brother Bruce Trindle and wife Kate of Norfolk, Nebraska; nephews Cody Trindle and wife Taghreed; Wade Trindle and wife Kelly; Tom Jurancich and wife Pam; grand niece Juniper Trindle; grand nephews Alexander, Andrew, and Rex Trindle and Tristan Jurancich.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents and sister Glada Jurancich.
A celebration of life service is planned for Friday, January 31st at Horan & McConaty mortuary in Arvada at 11:00 am. A lunch reception will follow.
