She was part of the Bear Valley and Athmar Congregations in Denver Colorado.
She served shortly as a regular pioneer at the Bear Valley Congregation and than became a faithful member of the Athmar Congregation until she passed away.
Cynthia had a strong belief in what the bible teaches about death. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says, For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any reward because all memory of them has been forgotten. Jesus said that death is sleeping…John 11:12-14. John 5:28, 29 speaks of a resurrection from the dead. Cynthia strongly believed what the bible really teaches.
Cynthia enjoyed her family and her friends and was a loyal and kindhearted person. She was known as one of the most dangerous players of the card games of spades and bid-whist. Her friends will miss her skill. She loved eating crabs and was a fabulous cook.
She is already greatly missed but will sleep only for a short time until the resurrection. She will be amongst those who are meek…Psalms 37:10,11…But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
Revelation 21:4- And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
