Cynthia (Cindi) L. McCarthy-Williams, 69, from Denver, Colorado, departed from our plane of existence and into the Great Beyond where no man has gone before, on Saturday, February 16, 2019. She was born Friday (actually it was a Monday) the 13th of June, 1949 to Mary Lou and Joseph (Franny) McCarthy. The middle child to three sisters.
She was employed by the State of Colorado, Department of Military Affairs (DMVA) for over 35 years. She also worked for the 1980, 1990, and 2000 U.S. Census. Her loves and hobbies included animal and people rescue, Unicorns, Star Trek, Star Wars, anything Science Fiction, StarCon and StarFest Conventions, Haunted Houses, and the Colorado Renaissance Festival.
She is survived by her son, Brendan Haymaker and his husband, Eddie Young of Honolulu, Hawaii, her sisters, Lonnie Jones and her husband, Paul, of Littleton, Colorado and Kathryn McCarthy, of Portland, Oregon, her niece/cousin, Erin McCarthy of Boulder, Colorado and nephew and niece, Derek Jones and Tia Jones Wolkov, and numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her loving husband, James (Jim) Williams and her sister, Sandra (Sandee) Parsons.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 2nd, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 1091 South Colorado Blvd., Denver, Colorado.
There will be a Celebration of Life, Potluck Reception held at 800 S. Ogden St. Denver, CO 80209, to begin at 12pm, following the Memorial Service.
