Cynthia A. Pettus

Cynthia Andert Pettus, 65, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away September 30, 2018 at her home in Littleton, Colorado.

A Vigil Service will be held at Horan and McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd,, Lakewood, CO on Thursday October 11 at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Avenue Sheridan, CO on Friday October 12 at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor Edward L. Buelt of Notre Dame Catholic Church. A private burial of her ashes will be held at the Cremation Gardens of Horan and McConaty at a later date.

Cynthia was born in Cleveland, OH to Thomas Leroy and Katherine Parsley Andert on February 22, 1953. She attended Champaign Central High School in Champaign, Illinois. She worked as a social worker, for the US geological survey, and the IRS before going back to school. She earned a Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Wyoming. She then worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the Jefferson County school system for 15+ years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, swimming, walking, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her family.

Cynthia is survived by her son Matthew and his son Aninwa, son James, daughter Emily and her daughters Isabelle and Genevieve, and daughter Jacqueline.
