Cynthia R. Shaffer, 51, passed away unexpectedly October 15, 2004, in Aurora, Colorado. Cynthia was born July 24, 1953, in Plainfield, New Jersey to Dolores Brant and Malcolm G. Robinson. Cindi was raised in New Jersey and in her younger years she enjoyed spending time at Lake George in Upstate New York. She married Scott A. Shaffer October 8, 1983, in Westfield, New Jersey. Cindi and Scott loved spending time together, along with their dog, Duke. She loved to read and enjoyed tutoring and mentoring First Graders in reading at Peakview Elementary School, in Aurora. She also enjoyed swimming and loved spending time in the mountains. Cynthia worked as a Production Technologist for Amoco for 19 years. Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband, Scott A. Shaffer, of Aurora; her companion and friend, Duke; father, Malcolm G. Robinson, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; sisters, Ginny Brown, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and Sally (Jim) Browning, of Allentown, PA. She was loved my many and will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 20th, 11:00 am, in the Picadilly building of the LDS church, 5175 South Picadilly Street. Burial will be on Wednesday, Oct. 20th, 4pm, at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park, 3201 South Parker Road. (Immediatly to the West of Horan & McConaty.)
