Cindy Weber of Evergreen passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2015. She was born to Helen and Donald Wilcox on September 25, 1938 and grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After graduating from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill she taught first grade at Quantico Marine Corps Station. It was here that she met the love of her life, Ed Weber. They were married April 14, 1964 and had five children. They moved to Evergreen in 1992 after retiring from the rat race in Virginia. Cindy was an active member in the Evergreen community volunteering at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mount Evans Hospice, the Life Care Center and Hiwan Homestead. When not busy volunteering she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, quilting, traveling and being outdoors. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Weber; son, Kurt Fredrick; and parents, Helen and Donald Wilcox. She is survived by her sister, Susan McCutchan (Jack); her children, Michael (Lina), Gretchen (Tony) Donisi, Marta (Steve) McCarthy, Stephanie (Marc) Preo; grandchildren Anna and Angelo Donisi, and Conor, Erich, and Kiera McCarthy. She will be missed with loving and sometimes humorous thoughts by all. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4-7 PM, with Recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, in Lakewood, Colorado. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10 AM, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4291 Evergreen Parkway, in Evergreen, Colorado. Interment follows at 1:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado.
