Cynthia ("Cindy") Barnhill

Cynthia Way Barnhill left this life and entered paradise on November 25th, 2020. She was an only child born February 7th, 1958 in Chicago, IL. When Cindy was five years old her neighbor’s grandson visited and thus Cindy met Roger Duncan Barnhill. Roger joined the United States Airforce and was transferred to Colorado in 1985. Cynthia joined him and they built their dream home together. Roger and Cynthia were married June 23rd, 1985. They were best friends until July 12th, 2006 when Roger entered eternal life.

Cindy chose to honor her late husband by becoming Colorado’s “Java Angel”. For years she paid the tab for every military member, police officer, and emergency responder who ordered at the local Starbucks. In her daily life she personally thanked every service member she saw.

After Roger’s death Cynthia filled her heart and home with the second love of her life; animals. Cindy loved her dogs and cats, jewelry, and testing her luck in Blackhawk, CO. In lieu of a memorial service please send donations to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
