Dale Bogdan Vukmanovich, 66, of Westminster, Colorado formerly of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016. Dale was a devoted father, loving Djedo and had a zest for life that was contagious. He was passionate about coaching soccer, jamming out to Motown and would dance the night away. Dale loved his Pittsburgh Steelers while he lived in Broncos Country. Dale was born on November 20th, 1949 in Rochester, Pennsylvania. The son of Nicola Vukmanovich and Ruby Zernich Vukmanovich, he grew up in the landscape of steel mills in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Drafted into the Army, he served as a Communications Specialist in the Vietnam War. Dale is survived by his daughters Valerie and Fred Lombardi and Laura Vukmanovich and Justin Haskin of Denver, Colorado; and three grandchildren Mia, Max and Maddox Lombardi, who were his pride and joy. He is further survived by his brother Nick and Donna Vukmanovich of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; niece AnnaMarie Vukmanovich of New York, New York; uncle Joseph ""Skip"" (Carla) Vukmanovich of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends also survive Dale. Dale is preceded in death by his parents Nicola Vukmanovich (1989) and Ruby Zernich Vukmanovich (2009). A viewing and celebration of life will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home 9998 Grant Street Thornton, Colorado on Thursday, March 10th, 2016 from 6:00 pm â 8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church 9305 West Cedar Avenue Lakewood, Colorado on Friday, March 11th, 2016.
