Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan, 47, died December 24th, 2005. He was born August 27, 1958 to Eugene and Lois Ryan in Aberdeen WA. The family moved to North Platte in 1963, where he attended school at St. Patrick's, and North Platte High School, where he graduated in 1977. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as Manager of Special Projects. He lived in Thornton, CO with his wife, Becky, of 28 years. He is survived by his wife; five children, all of the Denver area; two sons, Adam (April), Joey (Jamie); three daughters, Robyn (Marc), Renee, and Rachel, still at home; seven grandchildren, Alexandria, Breanna, Dakota, Adrian, Jasmine, Ryan and Jade; two sisters, Sheila (Butch) Harrington, of Sheridan, AR, and Deb (Doug) Beckmann, of North Platte; two brothers, John, of Sheridan, AR, and Harold, of Yankton, SD; six nieces and nephews, Jacque, Donnie, Joe, Madeline, John, and Jennifer. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Visitation, Thursday, Dec. 29th, from 6-7 pm, with a Rosary at 7 pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St. Thornton, CO. Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Friday, 10 am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
