Dana Lee Anderson Brown

Dana Lee Anderson-Brown, 44, of Littleton, passed away on the 20th of May 2014 at her home in Littleton, CO. Dana was born in Denver to Darlene Laramie Anderson and the late Edker Lee Anderson on the 24th of July 1969. Dana attended Columbine and Chatfield High Schools and furthered her education through Wheat Ridge Regional Center where she completed her LPT certification. She was married to Shawn Edward Brown. Dana was a Mental Health Technician at the Wheat Ridge Regional Center where she cared for developmentally disabled adults. Following a back injury she pursued her career at Fort Logan Mental Health Institution as an LPT. Dana had a caring and loving personality and always enjoyed surrounding herself with kids. Dana was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Growing up, Dana helped her dad work with and train racehorses. Through this experience, Dana felt a deep loving therapeutic connection with horses. Dana is preceded in death by her father Edker Lee Anderson; her brother Troy Williams; and her 4 grandparents Wendall J. Laramie, Genevieve Laramie, Edker Anderson Sr., and Martha (Bobbie) Anderson. She is also preceded in death by her uncle Woodrow (Woody) Anderson Sr. and her aunt Barbra Laramie. Dana is survived by her husband Shawn Edward Brown; her 3 children Brian Herzog Jr., Brittany Lee Herzog, and Aiden Brown; her sister Laurie Ann Betz; her brother-in-law Randy Betz Sr.; her mother Darleene Laramie Anderson; her nephews Randy Betz Jr. and Troy Betz. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the 23rd of May 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6705 South Webster St. in Littleton. Burial will follow at Littleton Cemetery.
