Dane Robert Gouin

Dane Robert Gouin, age 17, passed away at his home in Littleton, Colorado on August 19, 2016. He attended Arapahoe High School and had just begun his junior year. During his short life he developed close friendships and impacted many lives. His parents, Linda Holmstad and Andre Gouin, stepmother, Lori Gouin, older sister, Krista Gouin, and twin sister, Jessica Gouin survive Dane. His grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many friends that considered him family also survive him. Dane loved mountain biking, music and learning about the world around him. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed doing projects around the house. Dane liked grilling for his mom and reading a good book. He especially enjoyed ""hanging"" with his friends. He cared a great deal about the environment and what is happening in the world. Dane had a wisdom about him beyond his years. Dane adored his sisters; He looked up to and admired his older sister Krista and was fiercely protective of his twin sister Jessica. Dane's smile and the sparkle in his eye had a way of making you feel joyful. Above all, Dane was kind and caring to his friends and the people around him. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Dane will be held on August 27, 2016 at 9:00 AM at Cornerstone Church, SBC, at 9941 Lone Tree Parkway in Lone Tree, Colorado.
