Daniel Lewis Hoopes, 60, of Highlands Ranch, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marilyn Lesch Hoopes & Frank Hoopes. Daniel is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tee Xavier. Father of Jonathan, brother of Matt (Deb) Hoopes of Salem, OH. Nephew of Albert (Gayle) Lesch of Bradenton, FL. Uncle of Cassandra Hoops, Alexandra Hoopes, Monica Everhart, John Everhart, Nicole Xavier, Megan (Leslie) Bonvillain, Frankie (Erika) Xavier, Stephanie Xavier, Michael Xavier, Joey Ptasinski & Ann Ptasiniski. Daniel graduated from Salem High School where he played bass drum in band and continued on to Georgetown University with a degree in Foreign Service. He accepted an oversees government job, which was canceled before he started. This allowed him to go on to a successful career, for 35 years, in the hospitality industry. He was an avid supporter of Bishop Machebeuf High School athletics. Daniel enjoyed his adventures with his son, including watching Jonathan's basketball & baseball games. He also spent countless hours in school gyms, concerts & graduations of his nieces & nephews as their best uncle.
