Daniel Raymond McGaughey

Daniel “Dan” McGaughey 75 of Westminster, CO died Wednesday January 31, 2024, at home.

He was born May 8, 1948, in Denver, CO the son of William and Delores (Erdkamp) McGaughey.

He worked as a Machinist and Business Owner in the Machine Tool Industry for over 40 years.

He married Susan Swanson October 15, 1982, and spent 32 Happy years with her until her passing February 11, 2014

He enjoyed golfing, traveling, spending time at the family cabins, and generally anything involving being in the outdoors.

He is survived by 2 sons Shane (Nancy) McGaughey and Brant (Michelle) McGaughey, brother Gary (Debbie), and sister Debbie (Don), by 2 grandchildren Dean (Ayla) and Dalton (Heather), and 2 great granddaughters Austine, Anna.

He was preceded in death by both parents, brother Bill, and his loving wife Sue.
