Daniel B. Szymanowski

Daniel Bernard Szymanowski was born on September 6th 1952 in Toledo, Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2013 at the age of 61. He moved to Colorado in the early 70's and it has been his home ever since. His wife, his children and four grandsons were the light of his life and he held a special place in his heart for all of them. Danny loved all genres of music and was happy to share his vast knowledge of the subject with anyone who would listen. He loved to follow motorsports and loved taking his family to the races even more. He was a truck driver for over 20 years and just got his dream job working for Transervice Logistics, Inc. He was a member of Teamsters Local Union No. 455 and the Independent Riders Association of Toledo Ohio. Danny is survived by his wife of 19 years Melodie Ann Knott, sons Luke Daniel Szymanowski (Colorado Springs), Jack Aaron Szymanowski (of the home), Russell Steven Chinn and wife Keri Michelle Chinn (Barnes) (Springfield, MO), parents of grandchildren Aaron Thomas Chinn and Alex Robert Chinn , daughter Anna Marie Chinn (of the home) mother of grandson Cody William Howe (of the home), son Robert Lane Chinn (of the home), Kaitlin Michelle Lantz mother of grandson Caden Aaron Szymanowski (Aurora, CO), siblings Becky Szymanowski (Toledo, OH), Sean Szymanowski (Toledo, OH) and Bernard Szymanowski (Mesa, AZ), nephew Eric Szymanowski and sister in law Janice Szymanowski (Toledo, OH). He is preceded in death by parents Bernard and Dorothy Szymanowski (Brock), brother Kevin Szymanowski , sister Lori Szymanowski, and Kathleen Lydia Szymanowski (Roten) of a previous marriage. Friends and family are invited to visitation at Horan & McConaty family chapel at 5303 E. County Line Rd Centennial, CO from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday October 18th, 2013. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday October 19th, 2013 at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church at 18000 E. Arapahoe Road in Aurora, CO. The family will be arranging for donations in Danny's name to go to a charity specializing in mental health.
