Daniel Worley, passed away at age 47 in Greenwood, South Carolina. Daniel was born in Ithaca, New York on June 26, 1969 and had lived in California and Arizona before finally residing in Colorado. He attended college at Regis University, where he procured a Masters degree in Religion. Daniel was an accomplished Auto Mechanic, attaining the title of ""Master Technician."" Daniel was loved by friends and family alike, as he helped better everyone who came into his life. He loved sports and collected countless sports cards from a young age. A gifted athlete, Daniel excelled in soccer, flew down the ski hills, and was a competitive hockey player, and always enjoyed a good round of golf. An avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche, Daniel got to witness them win a Stanley Cup. Daniel loved life to the fullest, since to him the only thing worse than dying was not having lived at all. He will be greatly missed by many. Mr. Worley is survived by his daughter Taylor and son Ryan; his parents, Jean and William Worley, Jr.; sister Kimberly Zimmerman; brothers Spencer Worley, John Worley and Chris Worley; and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty's HeartLight Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Av., Aurora, CO 80014. A reception will follow the service at the HeartLight Center. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or the Dumb Friends League.
