Danielle “Dani” Brennan passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30th, 2021, at the age of 27. A funeral will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, October 12th at OneLife Church in Aurora, CO.
Danielle Marie Brennan was born on July 10th, 1994 in Laguna Beach, CA. She and her twin brother, Ryan Brennan, were born the eldest of six children, to Patrick and Laura Brennan. She lived in Mission Viejo, CA until the age of 12 where she loved to go to the beach, boogie board, do gymnastics, and play baseball and soccer. In 2007, she moved to Highlands Ranch, CO, where she continued to enjoy playing soccer, playing violin, singing in choir, and attending youth group. She graduated from Mountain Vista High School in 2013.
She went on to attend college at the University of Colorado, Denver, where she studied psychology and graduated with a bachelor of science in 2018. She then became certified in phlebotomy and began working at BPL Plasma in 2018. She quickly worked her way up and became floor supervisor. She had planned to go back to school to become an ER nurse.
Dani loved working out, watching crime shows, going to soccer games with her mom, eating Mexican food, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her dog, Luna. During Dani’s time in college, she met her future fiancé, Brett Steiner, of Webster, South Dakota. The two got engaged in May of 2021. In January of 2021, Dani and Brett got their own apartment, where they enjoyed going on walks, playing Frisbee with Luna, and going for hikes. They were looking forward to planning their wedding, getting married, and buying a house together.
Dani was dearly loved and will be missed by her fiancé, Brett Steiner of Denver, CO; father, Patrick Brennan of Highlands Ranch, CO; siblings Ryan and his wife Amy of Harker Heights, TX, Hannah of Parker, CO, and Tori, Lizzie, and Rachel of Highlands Ranch, CO. She will also be missed by her grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other family members and friends from throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura; twin brothers, Jacob and Christopher; her grandparents, Jim and Adeline Brennan; her great grandma, Nora Wadkins; as well as her beloved dogs, Leroy and Maggie.
