Darla Norene Brazelton (Baker), age 79, was born on October 3, 1939 in Elk City, Oklahoma and passed away at the Medical Center of Aurora on November 18, 2018.

Darla had a persistence to integrity, was diligent, consistent, deliberate, organized, admired, respected and loved by ALL who knew her. Darla worked very hard at caring for her children, her career and loving her father, mother, brothers and sisters.

Darla lived most of her adult life in Englewood, then Aurora Colorado. This was after graduating from Elizabeth High School, in Elizabeth, Colorado in 1957. Darla completed a long career in the insurance business, retiring in 1994. Most of that time was spent at the Allstate Insurance Western U.S. regional corporate office in the Greenwood Plaza. Darla was the recipient of the Allstate ""Good Hands"" award in 1976.

In her retirement, Darla loved to read, visit with her sisters, spend time with her ""kids"", talk to old friends and have her hair ""done"". Darla will be remembered as ALWAYS ""put together"", a strong personality with consistent and unforgettable impact.

Darla was the oldest daughter of Norval and Florene Baker. Older brothers Phil Baker, Larry Baker, younger sisters Linda Dougherty and Janet Rountree all enjoyed teen years growing up owning and managing the Willow Nook Ranch, southeast of Elizabeth, Colorado.

Darla is survived by Linda Dougherty of Denver, Janet Rountree of Aurora, daughter Karen Krueger of Aurora and Wes Brazelton of Denver. Darla was preceded in death by her ex husband Ronald Brazelton and her youngest son Greg Brazelton. Darla also has many loving nieces and nephews.

Darla's wish was for cremation and a ""family only"" tribute to come at a later date. All will miss her dearly.
