Darlene Lucille Opperman

Darlene Lucille Opperman, age 81, of Lakewood, passed away August 9, 2013. She was born August 26, 1931 to Conrad and Della (Lepenske) Kizzor in Denver, Colorado. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Ray, daughter Laurel and sister Shirlee. Survived by sons Chris (Susie) and Tim; sister Janice (Allen); step-children Steven (Christine), Patricia (Michael) and Laura (John); step-grandchildren Julie, Greg, Kevin, Christie, Annmarie and Patrick; step-great granddaughter Catherine. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 7240 W. 12th Ave., Lakewood. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM, also at the church with committal following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge. In lieu of flowers donations in Darlene's honor are suggested to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 3629 W. 29th Ave., Denver, CO 80211.
