Sue (Phillips) Tillack of Denver, Colorado slipped peacefully into eternity, Saturday, September 22, 2012, with her family at her bedside. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Rhoda and Carlton Phillips, and her brother, Michael Phillips. Sue was born in Bellville, Ohio, but spent her early years in Tampa, Florida and Parkersburg, WV. She graduated from the University of Tampa in 1961 with a degree in teaching. In college, Sue was the 1961 homecoming queen, secretary of the student body and was listed in Who's Who in American Colleges. Sue met the love of her life and best friend, Dave Tillack, in 1958 and it was love at first sight. Dave and Sue recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Sue was a powerful inspiration and witness for the Lord. She touched many lives over the years by being a positive role model, caring deeply for people and being a source of care and encouragement. Sue is survived by her husband, Dave, daughter Jennifer and husband Oscar and their three children, Katie, Emily and Oscar of Centennial, CO. Her son John and his wife Kamela and their children, Duncan, Tanner, Keaton and Caroline of Branson, MO. Daughter Susan and husband Johnny and their children Abigail and Jack of Lake City, FL. Sue is also survived by her aunt, Moynelle Moats, of Parkersburg, WV. All of those who loved Sue and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service and Celebration of Sue's Life on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Community Church, 5600 E. Belleview Ave., Greenwood Village, CO.
