Darrel Suderman

Dr. Darrel Suderman, 69, of Newton, Kansas, was born on December 4, 1952, and on August 22, 2022, Darrel went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Darrel received his Doctoral Degree in Food Science from Kansas State University. He spent most of his life working in Food Research, Development, and Manufacturing. One of his most notable contributions was the co-invention of Popcorn Chicken for KFC in the early Nineties. Darrel is survived by his wife Laurel Suderman, his children Amanda, Grant, and Kara (Kevin) Amy, including his grandchildren Lucas, Kennedy, and Brighton Amy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Eva Lena.

A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11am at Horan & McConaty at 5303 E. County Line Rd Centennial, CO 80122.
