Darrell Dean Delimont

Darrell Dean Delimont Born in 1944 in Long Island, KS, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis Delimont. Darrell served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1966. He married Phyllis Kats June 16, 1967, at the Luctor Reform Church in Prairie View, KS. They eventually moved to Denver where Darrell worked at the City of Denver as a Supervisor of Parking Management before retiring in 2006. They had three children: Darren, Brian and Rachelle. Darrell was an involved parent who supported his children in a variety of school and sports teams/events while also participating with various youth groups, such as the YMCA Indian Guides and Y's Mens Club. Darrell was an active member of Corona Presbyterian Church, having held every office in the church organization at one point. Additionally, Darrell was involved in the local Bear Valley VFW. In addition to supporting their children, Darrell and his family also hosted two foreign exchange students: Karen Langezaal from the Netherlands and Jakob Webster from Australia. An avid outdoorsman, Darrell truly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his family often spent time traveling or in the mountains together. He is survived by his children: Darren (Marci), Brian (Michele) and Rachelle. He also has two grandsons: Darren Jr. (DJ) and Danny. He is also survived by one sister, Alberta Geil Memorial gifts in honor of Darrell may be made to the local Bear Valley VFW Chapter.
