Dave Bennie Valdez

Dave Bennie Valdez was born on May 05, 1988 and was laid to rest on April 12, 2025.

Dave lived boldly, with grit, grace, joy, and an unshakable strength. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. An adventurer to the core. He climbed 14ers, ran marathons, completed obstacle courses, and took on numerous Tough Mudders, tackling life’s challenges head-on, always with a smile.

More than his accomplishments, Dave was a man of God, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend. He found joy in simple moments and purpose in building others up. His faith was the foundation of his strength, shaping how he loved, how he lived, and how he showed up for others. He brought love, laughter, and unwavering support into every part of his life, at home, at work, and in every relationship.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nine years, Erica Valdez and their beautiful son, Jordan Anthony-Lee Valdez, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Denise Valdez, and her husband, Robert Harken; his only brother, Vince Valdez; and his godson, Laurence Martinez, who held a special place in his heart. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Larry Valdez and is lovingly remembered by numerous cherished friends and family.

To know Dave was to be inspired by him! To try a little harder, love a little deeper, live a little fuller, and trust a little more in God’s goodness. He is so loved and forever will be missed.
