David E. Aragon

David, 57, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Denver Hospice Care Center, Aurora. David was born May 28, 19 1953 in Raton, New Mexico to Benjamin and Emma (Martinez) Aragon. David honorably served in the United States Army, before moving to Colorado in 1974. He loved the outdoors and motorcycles. David enjoyed volunteering his time at St. Thomas More Catholic Church where he was a parishioner. David was a loving father and husband that will be deeply missed. On November 9, 1974 in Springer, New Mexico he married Cecilia (Martinez) Aragon, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter Angelina Aragon; mother Emma Aragon; brother Ben Aragon, Jr.; and sister Gloria Fernadez. Preceding in death were his father and grandparents, Abedon and Angelina (Baca) Martinez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 6:00-7:00 PM with Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM with reception to follow, both at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 8035 South Quebec Street, in Centennial, Colorado.
