David Richard Bates

David Richard Bates, born July 22,1947 in Upper Darby, Pa, left us on May 26, 2018. Beloved husband of Diana for 40 years, father of son Christopher (Jennifer Bird), and daughter Jessica (Steve) Kampa. Loving 'Pop' of granddaughter Giuliana, and a friend of many. During his life he worked as a salesman and manager for over 25 years here in Colorado. In his spare time, he pursued his love of music playing keyboards and singing in local bands in California as well as here in Colorado. He also enjoyed many years officiating football games for Colorado public schools. ""Thanks for having us"", it's been a wonderful journey.
