David Behm

David W. Behm passed away on December 11, 2022 at 79 years old.  Originally from Dayton, Ohio, he studied music at Indiana University and the Manhattan School of Music.  An accomplished flute and piccolo player, he served in the United States Air Force Academy Band on active military duty from 1965 to 1969.  He graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and later became a computer programmer/analyst.  David was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite, and also held an Expert-class Amateur Radio license.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Ruth Behm, and by his wife, Barbara (Gray) Behm.  He is survived by his children, Steve and Susie, and grandchildren Ashley, Andy, Avery, and Kenzie.  A memorial service will be held at Horan & McConnaty (9998 Grant St, Thornton, CO) on Monday December 19, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
