David Benton Clithero

David Benton Clithero, 47, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2007. He was born October 9, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri. Having a career in real estate development, he was employed as the Senior Director for Sonic Industries. Active in scouting as a youth, David achieved the Rank of Eagle Scout and was an accomplished member of the Order of the Arrow. He attended and graduated from UNC in Greeley, Colorado. A great outdoorsman, one of David's favorite pastimes was fishing the Taylor River. To honor David's passion for the wilderness, a memorial fund has been established in his name for the continued conservation in the Gunnison River Basin. David is survived by his parents Joseph & Betty Clithero, wife Peri Gore Clithero, sister Mary Titmus, nieces Sandra and Jessica Titmus and nephew Christopher Titmus. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Ruby Clithero, and Martin and Betsy Larson. Services will be held Wednesday, January 10th, 2 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church at 4500 E. Hampden Avenue in Englewood.
