David Joseph Edrich was born on January 22, 1962 in Denver. He is the son of Arnold J. Edrich and Rosemarie A. (Weibel) Edrich. He is survived by his mother and five siblings John Edrich, Dawn (Marty) Straley, Mary Edrich (John Jeffers), Rick Edrich (Heather Reddy), and Kathy Edrich (Alan Resnick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of close friends dating back to kindergarten.
David grew up in Southwest Denver and attended local Denver Public Schools. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Colorado. He had a varied career and worked as an engineer and a nurse with several stops in-between. His many places of employment include; University of Colorado Health Center, Anschutz Medical Center, the Colorado Governor's Mansion, and the Pepsi Center. David was a loving, curious, kind, generous, and friendly person who collected many experiences and things, but mostly close friend-ships that lasted a lifetime.
David passed after a heroic battle with cancer literally surrounded by family and close friends. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
